Jiménez Hidalgo

Degree in Environmental and Health Biology from the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Alcalá.

DEA in Documentation from the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.

Between November 2020 and December 2022 she has been Technical Coordinator of the Center for Human and Social Sciences of the CSIC.

She is currently Head of Service of the Technology Unit of the Tomás Navarro Tomás library of the Center for Humanities and Social Sciences of the CSIC.

He is responsible for the definition and computer management of the library, the definition, design and creation of databases as well as the processing of data both for internal use and for projects in which the library participates, development of applications and management tools for internal use.

Between 1997 and 2007 he worked at the Center for Scientific Information and Documentation of the CSIC (CINDOC) in the development of specialized portals in scientific-technical information on the internet for institutions such as CEDEX, CIEMAT, Ministry of the Environment and different European projects.

As part of his work with open access electronic publications, he carried out the analysis of the OJS editorial management system as well as its implementation in the Spanish Journal of Scientific Documentation, a project that was later transferred to all CSIC journals. In 2007 he was the technical editorial advisor and responsible for the electronic version of the Spanish Journal of Scientific Documentation (REDC) published by CINDOC.
